Crest Whitestrips Supreme Professional Strength 84 strips Review
Crest has been receiving impressive customer reviews for their new Whitestrips supreme professional strength product. Among other statements, Crest claims that this product irritates the gums less and has the strongest peroxide concentration available on the market.
At 14% hydrogen peroxide concentration, these claims just might be true. When compared to store-bought Crest Whitestrips, the Supreme Professional Strength package has been shown to be 80% more effective.
Each box contains enough strips for 42 full uses. The directions suggest bleaching your teeth for 30 minutes a day, for 21 consecutive days. Most users that have completed the bleaching program report dramatic improvements.
The biggest downside of these strips is the sensitivity you’re likely to experience. Peroxide solutions are known to give users sensitive teeth by temporarily enflaming the tooth’s inner pulp. This will go away, but eating and drinking will be unpleasant in the meantime.
A second downside is the length of the strips. The upper strips are 14% longer and the lower strips are 18% longer than the regular strips. Even still, if you have a broad and toothy smile there remains the chance that some of your teeth wont be covered. This leads to an unflattering, two tone smile.
Still, Crest has done a great job with their supreme professional strength Whitestrips. If you need a cost-effective whitening package that actually works, this may be the one for you. However, if you have a very wide smile or are bothered by the idea of a bit of sensitivity then my suggestion would be to look for an alternative solution.
