Pro-White Professional Teeth Whitening Kit Review

Pro-White, incorporated offers an at-home whitening kit that matches dentist kits in effectiveness. The company claims up to 10 shades of difference with 10 days of use; dentists seem to agree since many of them sell the same teeth whitening kit at a higher price.

The upper and lower bleaching trays are custom made from cast molds of your teeth. This is a nice touch, and a noticeable improvement over D.I.Y or one size fits all bleaching trays.

Even though you get custom made trays, no dentist visit is required. You make your own teeth molds from home, and send them into the lab with the included pre-stamped envelope. The package also comes with temporary trays so you can begin the bleaching process while you wait for your custom trays to arrive.

The main active ingredient is Carbamide Peroxide (22%), with backup ingredients of Sodium Hydroxide, Povidone, Carbomer, and Glycerol. Remember, these are the same ingredients you’ll find in most in-office bleaching systems. The only difference is that this kit has a much lower price.

It’s also worth noting that this kit is FDA approved. Customers don’t have to worry about suffering any of the common side effects from bleaching, such as tooth structure damage or enamel removal.

Now, here’s what Pro-White could have done better:

First, the bleaching process could be more convenient. Using bleaching trays is known to be a messy affair. Improved bleaching methods exist, such as those used with the Smile White Pro Kit.

Secondly, I would like to see the price made more competitive. At around $80, Pro-White isn’t a rip off… but there are options that offer much more bang for your buck.

Here are my thoughts: if you have the extra dollars to spend, then give this kit a closer look. It’s professional grade and will give you a whiter smile. However, if you need a less expensive option that rivals this product in safety and effectiveness then there are other kits you can pick up at a fraction of the cost.
